KY ENVSC Volunteer receives Lexington VA Outstanding Volunteer Award.

On Sept. 18, 2020 Cynthiana Elks Member BRIAN KINNEY was awarded the TROY BOWLING 2020 Outstanding Volunteer Award at the Quarterly VAVS (VA VOLUNTEER SERVICE) Committee meeting (which is all the Service organizations such as ELKS, AMERICAN LEGION, DAV, AMVETS, AMERICAN RED CROSS, VFW, SALVATION ARMY, ETC.). The person receiving this award is chosen by the LEXINGTON VA HEALTHCARE SYSTEM. The award was presented to Brian by Patrick Sinclar, Voluntary Service Officer:

"We are happy to present the Troy Bowling Award to Mr. Brian Kinney. This is a yearly award, that goes to a Volunteer that goes above and beyond for our Veterans here at the Lexington VA Health Care System. Brian, working through the Elks National Veterans Service Commission (ENVSC) and the Cynthiana Elks Lodge, who have provided over $30K in donations over the past and Brain has logged 894.5 regularly scheduled volunteer hours this year. Thank you Brian, for all you do for our Veterans! Well Deserved!"


Brian's Response upon receiving the award: " I just want to say THANK YOU to the LEXINGTON VA for this recognition and to the ENVSC for helping me with donations to go along with my volunteer work, and I just enjoy volunteering and helping my fellow VETERANS!!!"
